Risk Analyst (Level 2 Support)
Join our team as a Risk Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating risks related to financial fraud while supporting our customer service team. If you are analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about fraud prevention, this position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your skills behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Verification: Verify the accuracy of principal data to ensure its integrity.
- Transaction Analysis: Collect and analyze user transaction records to detect anomalies that may indicate fraudulent activity.
- Fraud Detection: Conduct thorough fraud reviews, identifying patterns and trends to reduce fraud risks.
- Customer Service Liaison: Collaborate with the customer service team to provide insights and guidance on fraud risk management and support processes.
- Case Investigation: Investigate fraud alerts raised by systems, analyzing potential risks and providing findings to the customer service team.
- Reporting: Document incidents, bugs, and issues, reporting them to the team lead for timely resolution.
- Prioritization: Effectively manage tasks based on business priorities and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- A proactive attitude with the ability to quickly adapt to evolving business needs.
- Knowledge of financial fraud methods and techniques, especially in cyber fraud.
- Experience in industries like Gaming, Web3, Fintech, or Payment Gateway businesses is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate large datasets and make data-driven decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and SQL query language is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in fraud investigations.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
- Goal-oriented, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
